Got a cold or flu?

I used to get 3+ week long cold. That is not an exaggeration. You know what got rid of them? No... I'm not talking about the garbage they sell at pharmacies that make you "feel" better. Here is what you do:

  1. Get a bottle of Vitamin C. (500 mg or 1000 mg)
  2. For adults: Take 4,000 mg every 30 minutes. Yes... I mean FOUR THOUSAND mg each 1/2 hour.
  3. For the flu: Combine Vitamin C + Vitamin D3 (40,000 i.u. the first day, 10,000 i.u. each day after that.) This is the brand that I use.

Here are articles with citations and research results if you still don't believe me:

I dare anyone to try this (when they are sick) and tell me it does not work.

Please Note: Once you get better, lower the Vitamin C dose to 1,000 mg, 3 times a day.  When you are sick, your body needs more nutrients. That is why your body needs so much Vitamin C when it is sick.

New Addresses for: myEggTimer.com and BusyNoise.com

I'm "archiving" the egg timer websites. Basically, I'm moving them over to a new address.

Try them out. The original sites will be there until the domain registrations run out.

I was about to trash the two sites on Aug. 31, but the positive response I received convinced me to move them instead.

If you know of better egg timer sites, please post a comment below so I can tell others.

Thanks again for all the positive comments.  I had no idea it was hard to find a decent egg timer site.

Alternatives to MyEggtimer.com and BusyNoise.com

Online egg timing software has become more sophisticated. Check out:

http://e.ggtimer.com/

It's great and should work in most browsers.

They even have a version for tea drinkers: http://steep.it/

The reason I bring up other sites (which I have no association with) is that I will be closing down both MyEggTimer.com and BusyNoise.com.  The closing date I set is August 31, 2009.

  • BusyNoise.com always had annoying bugs that I never got around to fixing.
  • I don't like keeping a site up that is easily outmatched by the competition.
  • It's also a pain making a website that uses JavaScript and Flash work across all the different browers.

If you know of any other egg timer site that is better than e.ggtimer.com and my own 2 sites, let me know below in the comments section so I can tell others.

Back online: busynoise.com/egg - May 20, 2009 - Thursday

busynoise.com/egg should now be working now.  I moved it to a more reliable server.  Visit MyEggTimer.com as a backup if it ever goes down again.
